## SEC. 595 REPORT ON ACCURACY OF DATA IN THE DEFENSE ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY REPORTING SYSTEM Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a plan to improve the completeness and accuracy of the data contained in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) in order— ####
(1)to provide for the standardization of identification credentials required for eligibility, enrollment, transactions, and updates across all Department of Defense installations; and ####
(2)to ensure that persons issued military identification cards and receiving benefits based on DEERS data are actually eligible for such cards and benefits.
