## SEC. 504 EXCEPTION TO REQUIRED RETIREMENT AFTER 30 YEARS OF SERVICE FOR REGULAR NAVY WARRANT OFFICERS IN THE GRADE OF CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER, W-5 Section 1305(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (1)— #####
(A)by striking “A regular warrant officer (other than a regular Army warrant officer)” and inserting “Subject to paragraphs
(2)and (3), a regular warrant officer”; and #####
(B)by striking “he” and inserting “the officer”; and ####
(2)by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(3) > > In the case of a regular Navy warrant officer in the grade of chief warrant officer, W-5, the officer shall be retired 60 days after the date on which the officer completes 33 years of total active service.” > .
