## SEC. 1615 RESTORATION OF 1 PERCENT FUNDING FOR ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES OF COMMERCIALIZATION READINESS PROGRAM OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE ###

(a)Restoration Section 9(y) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 638(y)), as amended by section 5141(b)(1)(B) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (Public Law 112-81; 125 Stat. 1853) is amended— ####

(1)by redesignating paragraphs

(4)and

(5)as paragraphs

(5)and (6), respectively; and ####

(2)by inserting after paragraph

(3)the following new paragraph (4): > > #### “(4) Funding > > For payment of expenses incurred to administer the Commercialization Readiness Program under this subsection, the Secretary of Defense and each Secretary of a military department is authorized to use not more than an amount equal to 1 percent of the funds available to the Department of Defense or the military department pursuant to the Small Business Innovation Research Program. Such funds shall not be used to make Phase III awards.” > . ###

(b)Technical Amendment Section 5141(b)(3)(B) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (Public Law 112-81; 125 Stat. 1854) is amended by striking “subsection (y)—” and all that follows through “the following:” and inserting “subsection (y), by amending paragraph

(4)to read as follows:”. ###
