## SEC. 1015 RETIREMENT OF NAVAL VESSELS ###
(a)Report Required Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Chief of Naval Operations shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report that sets forth a comprehensive description of the current requirements of the Navy for combatant vessels of the Navy, including submarines. ###
(b)Additional Report Element if Less Than 313 Vessels Required If the number of combatant vessels for the Navy (including submarines) specified as being required in the report under subsection
(a)is less than 313 combatant vessels, the report shall include a justification for the number of vessels specified as being so required and the rationale by which the number of vessels is considered consistent with applicable strategic guidance issued by the President and the Secretary of Defense in 2012.
