## Sec. 410 information for sentencing **[**[21 U.S.C. 850](/us/usc/t21/s850)**]** Except as otherwise provided in this title or section 303(a) of the Public Health Service Act42, no limitation shall be placed on the information concerning the background, character, and conduct of a person convicted of an offense which a court of the United States may receive and consider for the purpose of imposing an appropriate sentence under this title or title III. 42Section 303 of the Public Health Service Act was repealed by section 3201(b)(1) of Public Law 106–310 (114 Stat. 1190).
