## Sec. 1247 general powers **[**[12 U.S.C. 1749bbb–17](/us/usc/t12/s1749bbb–17)**]** In the performance of, and with respect to, the functions, powers, and duties vested in him by this title, the Director shall (in addition to any authority otherwise vested in him) have the functions, powers, and duties (including the authority to issue rules and regulations) of the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development set forth in section 402, except subsections (c)(2), (d), and (f), of the Housing Act of 1950.
Any rules or regulations of the Director shall only be issued after full consultation with the Board and after notice and hearing, if granted, as required by subchapter II of chapter 5, and chapter 7, of title 5, United States Code.
