## SEC. 19 GENERAL EFFECTIVE DATE **[**[7 U.S.C. 612c note](/us/usc/t7/s612c)**]** Except as otherwise provided in this Act, this Act and the amendments made by this Act shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act **[**Jan. 8, 1988**]**.
