## SEC. 541 IMPLEMENTATION **[**[42 U.S.C. 1437f note](/us/usc/t42/s1437f)**]** ###
(a)Issuance of Necessary Regulations Notwithstanding section 7(o) of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Act or part 10 of title 24, Code of Federal Regulations (as in existence on the date of enactment of this Act9), the Secretary shall issue such regulations as the Secretary determines to be necessary to implement this subtitle and the amendments made by this subtitle in accordance with section 552 or 553 of title 5, United States Code, as determined by the Secretary. 9October 27, 1997. ###
(b)Use of Existing Regulations In implementing any provision of this subtitle, the Secretary may, in the discretion of the Secretary, provide for the use of existing regulations to the extent appropriate, without rulemaking.
