## SEC. 902 QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS TO THE POSITION OF DEPUTY SECRETARY OF DEFENSE Section 132(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the first sentence the following new sentence: “The Deputy Secretary shall be appointed from among persons most highly qualified for the position by reason of background and experience, including persons with appropriate management experience.”.
