## SEC. 345 GUIDANCE TO ESTABLISH NON-TACTICAL WHEELED VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT SERVICE LIFE EXTENSION PROGRAMS TO ACHIEVE COST SAVINGS Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall conduct a survey of the quantity and condition of each class of non-tactical wheeled vehicles and base-level commercial equipment in the fleets of the military departments and report to the congressional defense committees on the advisability of establishing service life extension programs for such classes of vehicles.
