## SEC. 1110 EXTENSION AND EXPANSION OF EXPERIMENTAL PERSONNEL PROGRAM FOR SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL PERSONNEL **[**[5 U.S.C. 3104 note](/us/usc/t5/s3104)**]** ###
(a)Extension Section 1101 of the Strom Thurmond National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1999 (5 U.S.C. 3104 note) is amended in subsection (e)(1) by striking “2014” and inserting “2016”. ###
(b)Expansion of Availability of Personnel Management Authority Subsection (b)(1) of such section is amended— ####
(1)in subparagraph (C), by striking “and” at the end; ####
(2)in subparagraph (D), by inserting “and” at the end; and ####
(3)by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: > > ##### “(E) > > not more than a total of 10 scientific and engineering positions in the Office of the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation;” > .
