## SEC. 32203 STATE REPORTING OF FOREIGN COMMERCIAL DRIVER CONVICTIONS ###
(a)Definition of Foreign Commercial Driver Section 31301 is amended— ####
(1)by redesignating paragraphs
(10)through
(14)as paragraphs
(11)through (15), respectively; and ####
(2)by inserting after paragraph
(9)the following: > > #### “(10) > > ‘foreign commercial driver’ means an individual licensed to operate a commercial motor vehicle by an authority outside the United States, or a citizen of a foreign country who operates a commercial motor vehicle in the United States.” > . ###
(b)State Reporting of Convictions Section 31311(a) is amended by adding after paragraph
(21)the following: > > #### “(22) > > The State shall report a conviction of a foreign commercial driver by that State to the Federal Convictions and Withdrawal Database, or another information system designated by the Secretary to record the convictions. A report shall include— > > > ##### “(A) > > for a driver holding a foreign commercial driver’s license— > > > ###### “(i) > > each conviction relating to the operation of a commercial motor vehicle; and > > > ###### “(ii) > > each conviction relating to the operation of a non-commercial motor vehicle; and > > > ##### “(B) > > for an unlicensed driver or a driver holding a foreign non-commercial driver’s license, each conviction relating to the operation of a commercial motor vehicle.” > .
