Sec. 1. This Act shall be known and may be cited as the Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development Act.

Sec. 4. Any local government may apply to the Department for a grant under this Act.
§
Sec. 7. Within 30 days after completing its consideration of applications for grants for a fiscal year, the Department shall notify each applicant of the disposition ma.
§
Sec. 10. This Act takes effect July 1, 1973 or upon becoming a law, whichever is later.
§
Sec. 11. Progress reports on the implementation and development of this Act shall be filed annually with the Governor and the General Assembly.
§
Sec. 13. There is hereby created in the State Treasury the Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development Fund.
§
Sec. 14. There is hereby created in the State Treasury the Natural Areas Acquisition Fund.
