46A-10B-5. Hearing required--Timing and attendance.

Any county or municipality, within two weeks after initially transmitting or receiving a proposed joint powers agreement for the formation of a drainage basin utility district or a proposed amendment to add or delete lands from an existing district, shall, by mutual agreement with the other counties and municipalities included in the proposed district, fix a time and place for a joint public hearing on the establishment of the district. The hearing shall be held not later than sixty days after all counties and municipalities in the proposed district have received the proposed formation agreement.
Representatives of each county and each municipality in the proposed district shall be present at the hearing.
