36-9A-21.1. Curricula and standards for educational programs.

The board may approve curricula and standards for educational programs preparing persons to meet licensure requirements under this chapter. An institution desiring to conduct an approved program shall apply to the board and submit evidence that it is prepared to provide a program that will meet the requirements of the board. The board may conduct a survey of an educational program of any institution in the state applying to conduct an approved program pursuant to this section. The board may deny approval of an educational program if the program fails to meet the curricula and educational program standards required in rules promulgated by the board pursuant to chapter 1-26 .
