Any sign, display, or device lawfully erected and maintained pursuant to the provisions of this chapter and included in the exceptions defined in subdivision 31-29-63(1), (2), (3), (6), (7), (8), (9), or
(10)is exempt from the requirements of § 31-29-71 .
