26-6-24. Notice of intended revocation or refusal of renewal of license or registration--Hearing on protest--Temporary suspension.

No license or registration certificate of a child welfare agency may be revoked or renewal refused, unless the holder of the license or registration certificate is given notice by registered mail of the facts or conduct which warrant the intended action. If the intended action is protested, a hearing shall be held pursuant to chapter 1-26 . The Department of Social Services may temporarily suspend a registration certificate or license if the health, safety, or welfare of the persons served by the child welfare agency are in imminent danger or if the agency is substantially out of compliance with the requirements for licensing.
Upon request of an aggrieved party, a hearing shall be held pursuant to chapter 1-26 .
