§ 12-9-13. Penalty for violating § 12-9-12.
Any officer who shall deliver to the agent for extradition of the demanding state a person in his or her custody under the governor’s warrant, in willful disobedience to § 12-9-12, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or be imprisoned not more than six
(6)months, or both.
