SUMMARY: The Department of State (the Department) is correcting a regulation that was amended by a final rule published in the **Federal Register** on July 14, 2023. This final rule made a typographical error in the immigrant visa classification symbols and incorrectly listed the IB1 classification for “Self-petition Spouse of U.S.

Accordingly, 22 CFR part 42 is corrected by making the following correcting amendment: PART 42—VISAS: DOCUMENTATION OF IMMIGRANTS UNDER THE IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT, AS AMENDED 1. The authority citation for part 42 continues to read as follows: Authority: 8 U.S.C. 1104 and 1182; Pub. L. 105-277, 112 Stat. 2681; Pub.
