(OMB)for review and clearance in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, on or after the date of publication of this notice. We invite the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed, and continuing information collections, which helps us assess the impact of our information collection requirements and minimize the public's reporting burden. Public comments were previously requested via the **Federal Register** on January 8, 2024 during a 60-day comment period. This notice allows for an additional 30 days for public comments. *Agency:* National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Commerce. *Title:* NIST Associates Information System. *OMB Control Number* 0693-0067. *Form Number(s):* *Type of Request:* Revision of a current information collection. *Number of Respondents:* 4,000. *Average Hours per Response:* 50 minutes. *Burden Hours:* 2,167. *Needs and Uses:* NIST Associates
(NA)will include guest researchers, research associates, contractors, and other non-NIST employees that require access to the NIST campuses or resources. The NIST Associates Information System
(NAIS)information collection instruments(s) are completed by incoming NAs. They are asked to provide personal identifying data including home address, date and place of birth, employer name and address, and basic security information. The data provided by the collection instruments is input into NAIS which automatically populates the appropriate forms, and is routed through the approval process. NIST's Office of Security receives security forms through the NAIS process and is able to allow preliminary access to NIST for NAs. The data collected is the basis for further security investigations as necessary. *Affected Public:* Individuals or households. *Frequency:* Once. *Respondent's Obligation:* Required to obtain or retain benefits.
