ACTION: Notice. SUMMARY: In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act
(PRA)of 1995, the Department is proposing an extension without change of a currently approved information collection request (ICR). DATES: Interested persons are invited to submit comments on or before August 17, 2023. ADDRESSES: Written comments and recommendations for proposed information collection requests should be submitted within 30 days of publication of this notice. Please note that written comments received in response to this notice will be considered public records. *Title of Collection:* Federal Family Educational Loan Program (FFEL)—Administrative Requirements for States, Not-For-Profit Lenders, and Eligible Lenders Trustees. *OMB Control Number:* 1845-0085. *Type of Review:* An extension without change of a currently approved ICR. *Respondents/Affected Public:* Public sector; State, local, and Tribal governments. *Total Estimated Number of Annual Responses:* 35. *Total Estimated Number of Annual Burden Hours:* 35. *Abstract:* This request is for the extension of a current paperwork collection in the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB)Control Number 1845-0085 for the reporting requirement contained in the regulations for States, not-for-profit lenders and eligible lender trustees under 34 CFR 682.302 for the Federal Family Education Loan
(FFEL)Program. The regulations in § 682.302 require a State, non-profit entity, or eligible lender trustee to provide to the Secretary a certification on the State or non-profit entity's letterhead signed by the State or non-profit's Chief Executive Officer which states the basis upon which the entity qualifies as a State or non-profit entity. The submission must include documentation establishing the entity's State or non-profit status. In addition, the submission must include the name and lender identification number for which the eligible not-for-profit designation is being certified. Dated: July 12, 2023.
