(NEA)has submitted the following public information collection request
(ICR)to the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB)for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995: 2022 Final Descriptive Report Update. Copies of this ICR, with applicable supporting documentation, may be obtained by visiting *www.Reginfo.gov.* DATES: Written comments must be submitted to the office listed in the address section below within 30 days from the date of this publication in the **Federal Register** . ADDRESSES: Written comments and recommendations for proposed information collection requests should be sent within 30 days of publication of this Notice to *www.reginfo.gov/public/do/PRAMain.* Find this particular information collection request by selecting “National Endowment for the Arts” under “Currently Under Review;” then check “Only Show ICR for Public Comment” checkbox. (OMB)is particularly interested in comments which: • Evaluate whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including whether the information will have practical utility; • Evaluate the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the proposed collection of information including the validity of the methodology and assumptions used; • Enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and • Minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, including through the use of appropriate automated, electronic, mechanical, or other technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology, *e.g.,* permitting electronic submissions of responses. *Agency:* National Endowment for the Arts. *Title:* 2022 Final Descriptive Report Update. *OMB Number:* 3135-0140. *Frequency:* Annually. *Affected Public:* Nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and individuals. *Estimated Number of Respondents:* 15,838. *Estimated Time per Respondent:* 2.47 hours. *Total Burden Hours:* 43,311 hours. *Total Annualized Capital/Startup Costs:* 0. *Total Annual Costs (operating/maintaining systems or purchasing services):* 0. *Description:* Final Descriptive Reports elicit relevant information from individuals, nonprofit organizations, and government arts agencies that receive funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. According to OMB 2 CFR part 200, recipients of federal funds are required to report on project activities and expenditures. Reporting requirements are necessary to ascertain that grant projects have been completed, and that all terms and conditions have been fulfilled. Dated: August 26, 2022.
