ACTION: Information collection notice. SUMMARY: In compliance with the *Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995,* Air Force Research Laboratory/Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFRL/AFOSR) is requesting an extension of an information collection to evaluate and award Summer Faculty Fellowships and seeks public comment on this action. After obtaining and considering public comment, AFOSR, will prepare the submission requesting that the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB)approve extension of this collection for no longer than 3 years. Comments are invited on: Whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including whether the information shall have practical utility; the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the proposed information collection; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways to minimize the burden of the information collection on respondents, including through the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology. DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by July 28, 2020. Summer fellowships provide research opportunities for 8-14 weeks at an Air Force research site. *Affected Public:* Individuals and households. *Annual Burden Hours:* 75 hours. *Number of Respondents:* 300. *Responses per Respondent:* 1. *Annual Responses:* 300. *Average Burden per Response:* 15 minutes. *Frequency:* Annually. Respondents are Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors, undergraduate and graduate students desiring to conduct stimulating research projects and activities at Air Force research sites. The on-line, electronic application process provides information necessary for evaluation and selection of researchers.
