(NEPA)and its implementing regulations (40 CFR parts 1500-1508 and 43 CFR part 46), the BLM published a Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS in the **Federal Register** on November 7, 2016 (81 FR 78182). Due to recent catastrophic wildfires that damaged a significant portion of the planning area, the BLM has chosen to focus on fire recovery efforts at this time. The BLM has now terminated the planning process and the associated NEPA process. No EIS or Record of Decision will be issued.
