SUMMARY: The Western Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold its 175th Council meeting by teleconference and webinar to take actions on fishery management issues in the Western Pacific Region. The Council will also hold a meeting of the Protected Species Advisory Committee

(808)522-8220. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The PSAC meeting will be held between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on December 17, 2018 (Hawaii Standard Time (HST)). The 175th Council Meeting will be held on December 17, 2018, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. (HST); 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. (American Samoa Standard Time (ASST)); and December 18, 2018, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. (Marianas Standard Time (MST)). Agenda items noted as “Final Action Items” refer to actions that result in Council transmittal of a proposed fishery management plan, proposed plan amendment, or proposed regulations to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, under sections 304 or 305 of the MSA. Opportunities to present oral public comment will be provided throughout the agendas. The order in which agenda items is addressed may change and will be announced in advance at the meetings. The meetings may run past the scheduled times noted above to complete scheduled business.
