On August 28, 2015, NYSE Arca, Inc. (“Exchange”) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”), pursuant to Section 19(b)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (“Act”) 1 and Rule 19b-4 thereunder, 2 a proposed rule change to list and trade shares of the Global Currency Gold Fund under NYSE Arca Equities Rule 8.201.
The proposed rule change was published for comment in the **Federal Register** on September 16, 2015. 3 On September 29, 2015, the Exchange submitted Amendment No. 1 to the proposed rule change. 4 On October 28, 2015, pursuant to Section 19(b)(2) of the Act, 5 the Commission designated a longer period within which to either approve the proposed rule change, disapprove the proposed rule change, or institute proceedings to determine whether to disapprove the proposed rule change. 6 On December 11, 2015, the Commission instituted proceedings under Section 19(b)(2)(B) of the Act 7 to determine whether to approve or disapprove the proposed rule change, as modified by Amendment No. 1. 8 The Commission has not received any comments on the proposal, as modified by Amendment No. 1. 1 15 U.S.C. 78s(b)(1). 2 17 CFR 240.19b-4. 3 *See* Securities Exchange Act Release No. 75900 (Sep. 11, 2015), 80 FR 55674. 4 In Amendment No. 1, the Exchange:
