(OMB)for clearance the following proposal for collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). *Agency:* National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). *Title:* West Coast Region Highly Migratory Species Vessel Identification Requirements. *OMB Control Number:* 0648-0361. *Form Number(s):* None. *Type of Request:* Regular (extension of a currently approved information collection). *Number of Respondents:* 1,700. *Average Hours per Response:* 45 minutes per vessel except for purse seine vessels, which includes skiff and helicopter marking, requiring an additional 30 minutes. *Burden Hours:* 639. *Needs and Uses:* This request is for extension of a currently approved information collection. Regulations at 50 CFR 660.704 require that all vessels with permits issued under authority of the National Marine Fishery Service's
(NMFS)Fishery Management Plan for United States (U.S.) West Coast Highly Migratory Species Fisheries display the vessel's official number. The numbers must be of a specific size and format and located at specified locations. The display of the identifying number aids in fishery law enforcement. *Affected Public:* Business and other for-profit organizations. *Frequency:* Biannually. *Respondent's Obligation:* Mandatory.
