On May 23, 2014, NYSE Arca, Inc. (“NYSE Arca”) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”) a proposed rule change pursuant to Section 19(b)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 1 and Rule 19b-4 thereunder 2 to amend the NYSE Arca Options Fee Schedule relating to lead market maker rights fees.
The proposed rule change was published for comment in the **Federal Register** on June 10, 2014. 3 On July 18, 2014, the Commission suspended and instituted proceedings to determine whether to approve or disapprove the proposed rule change. 4 The Commission received no comment letters regarding the proposal.
