Additionally, the data is reported by the IRS to Treasury so that funds may be transferred from the general revenue funds to the appropriate trust funds. *Affected Public:* Private Sector: Businesses or other for-profits. *Estimated Annual Burden Hours:* 4,478,956. *OMB Number:* 1545-1903. *Type of Review:* Extension without change of a currently approved collection. *Title:* TD 9168—Optional 10-Year Write-off of Certain Tax Preferences (REG-124405-03). *Abstract:* This collection of information is required by the IRS to verify compliance with section 59(e).
