The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance, the following proposal for collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. chapter 35). DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by August 6, 2012. *Title, Form, and OMB Number:* Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID);
OMB Control Number 0704-0482. *Type of Request:* Extension. *Number of Respondents:* 3,200. *Responses per Respondent:* 1. *Annual Responses:* 3,200. *Average Burden per Response:* 1 hour. *Annual Burden Hours:* 3,200 hours. *Needs and Uses:* DSAID is a DoD database that captures uniform data provided by the Military Services and maintains all sexual assault data collected by the Military Services. This database shall be a centralized, case-level database for the uniform collection of data regarding incidence of sexual assaults involving persons covered by DoDD 6495.01 and DoDI 6495.02.
DSAID will include information when available, or when not limited by Restricted Reporting, or otherwise prohibited by law, about the nature of the assault, the victim, the offender, and the disposition of reports associated with the assault. Information in the DSAID will be used to respond to congressional reporting requirements, support Military Service SAPR Program management, and inform DoD SAPRO oversight activities. *Affected Public:* Federal Government; Individuals or Households;
Business or Other For-Profit; Not-For-Profit Institutions; Farms; State, Local or Tribal Government. *Frequency:* On occasion. *Respondent's Obligation:* Voluntary. *OMB Desk Officer:* Ms. Jasmeet Seehra.
