Summary

Background FMCSA published a notice in the Federal Register with a request for comments on May 25, 2012 (77 FR 31423), announcing that NAD had applied for exemptions on behalf of 45 individuals from the hearing requirement in the FMCSRs. The comment period was scheduled to end on June 25. However, on June 6, NAD formally requested an extension of the comment period. After reviewing the request, FMCSA has decided to grant the request.
