ACTION: Notice of Public Meetings. SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA), the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), and the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act of 2004 (FLREA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management
(BLM)Twin Falls District Resource Advisory Council
(RAC)and subcommittee for the Jarbidge Resource Management Plan
(RMP)will meet as indicated below. DATES: April 27, 2011. On April 27, 2011, the Twin Falls District RAC members will meet at the Best Western Sawtooth Inn at 2653 S. Lincoln Street, Jerome, Idaho. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The 15-member RAC advises the Secretary of the Interior, through the Bureau of Land Management, on a variety of planning and management issues associated with public land management in Idaho. During the April 27th meeting, there will be discussion regarding the upcoming 2012 RAC member nominations, current RAC subgroups, the application of the Wild Lands Policy for the Twin Falls District, local highway district issues and an update for the proposed strategy for future management of wild horses and burros. Additional topics may be added and will be included in local media announcements.
