BILLING CODE 4410-15-M DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE Notice of Lodging of Consent Decree Pursuant to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act Notice is hereby given that on August 23, 2006 a proposed Consent Decree in *United States* v. *Mallinckrodt et. al* , Civil Action No. 4:02CV1488, was lodged with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. In this action the United States sought recovery of response costs incurred by the Environmental Protection Agency at the Great Lakes Container Corporation Superfund Site located in St.
Louis, Missouri. The Consent Decree requires Defendant Shell Oil Company to reimburse the United States $228,630.00 in response costs. The Department of Justice will receive for a period of thirty
(30)days from the date of this publication comments relating to the Consent Decree. Comments should be addressed to the Assistant Attorney General, Environment and Natural Resources Division, P.O. Box 7611, U.S. Department of Justice, Washington, DC 20044-7611, and should refer to *United States* v. *Mallinckrodt, et. al* . D.J. Ref. 90-11-3-07280. The Consent Decree may be examined at the Office of the United States Attorney, Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse, 111 South 10th Street, 20th Floor, St. Louis, MO 63102, and at U.S. EPA Region VII, 901 North 5th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66025.
