Summary

The FAA invites public comment on the request to release property at the Midland International Airport under the provisions of the AIR 21. On November 12, 2003, the FAA determined that the request to release property at Midland International Airport, submitted by the City, met the procedural requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations, Part 155. The FAA may approve the request, in whole or in part, 30 days from the posting of this Federal Register notice. The following is a brief overview of the request: The City of Midland requests the release of 64.5 acres of non-aeronautical airport property. The land is part of a War Assets Administration deed of airport property to the City in 1948. The funds generated by the release will be used for upgrading, maintenance, operation and development of the airport. Any person may inspect the request in person at the FAA office listed above under FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT .
