(DOC)has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB)for clearance the following proposal for collection of information under provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). *Agency:* Bureau of Export Administration (BXA). *Title:* Import Certificates and End-User Certificates. *Agency Form Number:* None. *OMB Approval Number:* 0694-0093. *Type of Request:* Extension of a currently approved collection of information. *Burden:* 1,957 hours. *Average Time Per Response:* 16 to 62 minutes per response. *Number of Respondents:* 6,900 respondents. *Needs and Uses:* Import or End-User Certificates are an undertaking by the government of the country of ultimate destination (the issuing government) to exercise legal control over the disposition of the items covered by the importer (ultimate consignee or purchaser) and transmitted to the exporter (applicant). The control exercised by the government issuing the Import or End-User Certificate is in addition to the conditions and restrictions placed on the transaction by BXA. This collection of information also contains a recordkeeping requirement and a reporting requirement that involve Import or End-user Certificates as supporting documentation accompanying an application for an export license (approved by OMB under control no. 0694-0088). *Affected Public:* Individuals, businesses or other for-profit institutions. *Respondent's Obligation:* Required to obtain or retain benefits. *OMB Desk Officer:* David Rostker.
