BILLING CODE 6560-50-P ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY 40 CFR Part 62 [MD-103-3055b; FRL-6862-3] Approval and Promulgation of State Air Quality Plans for Designated Facilities and Pollutants; Maryland; Control of Emissions From Existing Hospital/Medical/Infectious Waste Incinerators AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). ACTION: Proposed rule. SUMMARY: EPA is proposing to approve Maryland's 111(d)/129 plan (the “plan”) for the control of air pollutant emissions from hospital/medical/infectious waste incinerators (HMIWIs).
The plan was developed and submitted to EPA by the Maryland Department of the Environment, Air and Radiation Management Administration (MARMA), on April 14, 2000. EPA is publishing this approval action without prior proposal because we view this as a noncontroversial action and anticipate no adverse comments. DATES: Comments must be received in writing by October 5, 2000. ADDRESSES: Comments may be mailed to Denis M.
