The Federal Communications Commission will hold an Open Meeting on the subject listed below on Thursday, January 20, 2000, which is scheduled to commence at 9:30 a.m. in Room TW-C305, at 445 12th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. Item No., Bureau, and Subject 1—Mass Media—Title: Creation of Low Power Radio Service (MM Docket No. 99-25, RM's—9208 and 9242).
Summary: The Commission will consider further action regarding the establishment of a low power FM radio service. 2—Mass Media—Title: Review of the Commission's Broadcast and Cable Equal Employment Opportunity Rules and Policies (MM Docket No. 98-204); and Termination of the EEO Streamlining Proceeding (MM Docket No. 96-16). Summary: The Commission will consider further action regarding equal employment opportunity rules and policies for broadcasters and cable entities, including multichannel video programming distributors.
