An Act To expand the boundaries of the Atchafalaya Dec. 23, 2024[[H.R. 6843](/us/bill/118/hr/6843)]National Heritage Area to include Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. * Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* ## SECTION 1 ATCHAFALAYA NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA EXPANSION Section 213 of the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area Act (subtitle B of title II of [54 USC 120102 note](/us/usc/t54/s120102).[Public Law 109–338](/us/pl/109/338)) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (b), by striking “and Ascension Parish” and inserting “Ascension, and Lafourche Parish”; and ####
(2)in subsection (c)(2), by striking “14” and inserting “15”. Approved December 23, 2024.
