An Act To amend the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to provide eligibility for broadcasting facilities to receive certain disaster assistance, and for other purposes.Dec. 18, 2015[[S. 1090](/us/bill/114/s/1090)] * Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Emergency Information Improvement Act of 2015. ## SECTION 1 SHORT TITLE [42 USC 5121 note](/us/usc/t42/s5121). This Act may be cited as the “Emergency Information Improvement Act of 2015”. ## SEC. 2 ELIGIBILITY OF BROADCASTING FACILITIES FOR CERTAIN DISASTER ASSISTANCE ###
(a)Private Nonprofit Facility Defined Section 102(11)(B) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ([42 U.S.C. 5122(11)(B)](/us/usc/t42/s5122/11/B)) is amended by inserting “broadcasting facilities,” after “workshops,”. ###
(b)Critical Services Defined Section 406(a)(3)(B) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ([42 U.S.C. 5172(a)(3)(B)](/us/usc/t42/s5172/a/3/B)) is amended by striking “communications,” and inserting “communications (including broadcast and telecommunications),”.
