§ 5105. Purchase contracts for petroleum products for fire companies, rescue companies and ambulance companies.
(a)General rule.-- The board of commissioners of each township shall have the power to permit, subject to terms and conditions as it may, and as specifically provided, shall, prescribe a paid or volunteer fire company, paid or volunteer rescue company and paid or volunteer ambulance company in the township to participate in purchase contracts for petroleum products entered into by the township.
(b)Participation.-- A company desiring to participate in purchase contracts shall file with the township secretary a request to authorize the company to participate in contracts for the purchase of petroleum products for the township and agreeing that the company shall be bound by the terms and conditions as the township may, and as specifically provided, shall, prescribe and that the company shall be responsible for payment directly to the vendor under each purchase contract.
(c)Terms and conditions.-- Among the terms and conditions, the township shall prescribe that all prices shall be free on board destination.
