§ 321. Annual reports.
The commission shall annually transmit, to the Governor and the General Assembly and shall make available to the public, a report on the conduct of the commission. The report shall include, but shall not be limited to, a summary of all rate proceedings completed within the reporting period, the amount of the rate increase requested in each such proceeding, the amount of the request granted by the commission in each such proceeding, the percentage increase in rates requested and granted in each such proceeding as compared to the percentage increase requested and granted in the most recent similar proceeding for the affected utility prior to the reporting period, a summary of other significant regulatory issues which the commission resolved during the reporting period, a summary of significant orders and decisions of the commission and the courts of the Commonwealth during the reporting period relating to public utilities, a summary of significant anticipated issues by type of utility and a status report of any commission action regarding these issues, and a summary of the audits completed by the commission during the reporting period.
In the annual report and at such other times as the commission determines, the commission shall make recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly which the commission believes to be necessary or desirable to protect the public interest.
