§ 9313. Budget.
Beginning July 1, 2016, the commission and the Department of Agriculture shall annually submit a budget request to the Secretary of the Budget in accordance with the provisions contained in section 610 of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L.177, No.175), known as The Administrative Code of 1929, consisting of amounts to be appropriated from the State Racing Fund, the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development Trust Fund and the General Fund to administer and enforce this chapter and for the promotion of horse racing.
Beginning July 1, 2016, and annually thereafter, 1% of the previous fiscal year's deposits into the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development Trust Fund shall be transferred from the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development Trust Fund to the State Racing Fund to provide for the promotion of horse racing.
