§ 518. Powers reserved under existing laws.
Nothing in this chapter shall limit in any way whatever the powers conferred upon the commission, the department, the Department of Environmental Protection or a conservation district under laws other than this chapter, including, but not limited to, the act of June 22, 1937 (P.L.1987, No.394), known as The Clean Streams Law, and the act of July 7, 1980 (P.L.380, No.97), known as the Solid Waste Management Act, and common law. All such powers are preserved and may be freely exercised.
