746.021 Discrimination under health benefit plans. Except as otherwise provided for in the Insurance Code, an individual may not, on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under any health benefit plan issued or delivered in this state. [2019 c.285 §2]
Note: 746.021 was added to and made a part of the Insurance Code by legislative action but was not added to ORS chapter 746 or any series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
