455.208 Requirements for continued procurement of contract building official’s services.
(1)A city that intends to continue to procure services from a contract building official shall, on or after January 1, 2022:
(a)Comply with ORS 455.202; and
(b)Submit an updated operating plan to the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services that outlines the city’s plan for compliance with ORS 455.202.
(2)A city that does not comply with ORS 455.202 or does not submit an updated operating plan as provided in subsection (1)(b) of this section may not procure services from a contract building official unless the city’s procurement occurs for the periods and under the circumstances described in ORS 455.202 (2)(a)(A) and (B).
