240.080 Chairperson appointed by Governor; meetings; quorum; hearings. The Governor shall appoint one of the members of the Employment Relations Board as chairperson, who shall serve for a term not to exceed four years. The chairperson shall be the chief administrative officer of the board. The board shall meet at such times and places as are specified by call of the chairperson or a majority of the board. All hearings shall be open to the public. A majority of the members of the board constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business.
Any agent designated by the board to make investigations and conduct hearings may administer oaths and affirmations, examine witnesses and receive evidence. [Amended by 1973 c.536 §29; 1977 c.808 §4]
