§75-26.14. Referring of bills upon convening of session -

Introduction and reading.
Immediately upon the convening of each regular session of the Legislature, the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives shall refer all prefiled bills and resolutions to the respective presiding officers of the two
(2)houses of the Legislature. All bills and resolutions prefiled, in accordance herewith, shall, prior to the introduction of bills and resolutions, be placed immediately upon first reading in the same manner as bills and resolutions introduced after the convening of the Legislature. Bills and resolutions introduced after the first reading of prefiled bills and resolutions shall be numbered consecutively with said prefiled bills and resolutions, respectively, in the manner provided by legislative rules for bills and resolutions introduced after the convening of the Legislature.
