§74-5040.25. Pilot project.

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce is authorized to implement the Oklahoma Certified Retirement Communities Program through a pilot project. During this pilot implementation, the community selection criteria and scoring methodology shall be defined, applications shall be developed, educational sessions shall be conducted and marketing strategies shall be developed. The City of Stillwater, Oklahoma, shall serve as the pilot community pursuant to this section. In recognition of the assistance the City of Stillwater shall provide in this pilot project, the application fee charged by the Department for the city’s initial application shall be Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
The Department and the City of Stillwater shall jointly work to organize the community and prepare its application. Added by Laws 2010, c. 209, § 6, eff. July 1, 2010.
