§74-324.5. Office of State Fire Marshal agents.

Office of State Fire Marshal agents shall be appointed by and subject to the supervision and control of the State Fire Marshal or designee. All agents are employees of the State of Oklahoma and subject to the provisions of the Oklahoma Merit System of Personnel Administration. All agents shall be required to obtain and maintain peace officer certification from the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training and must have or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma driver license and be citizens of the United States.
The State Fire Marshal Commission shall have the authority to appoint such other employees as shall be necessary in discharging the duties of their office. Added by Laws 1965, c. 257, § 5, eff.
