§74-2228. Hunting in designated state parks.

The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission may authorize, by written agreement or agreements between the Commissions, hunting in designated state parks or designated portions of state parks under the administrative control of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission, excluding Lake Murray State Park. The agreement or agreements shall be made with the advice of the Attorney General's office and shall contain the duration, terms and conditions of the hunting authorization, a list of species to be hunted and permitted firearms, a map designating the specific land areas to be open to hunting and shall provide for the administration of the designated area or areas by the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission for so long as hunting is authorized under the provisions of the agreement or agreements.
All areas to be open to hunting shall be clearly marked by signs to designate the open and closed areas. Added by Laws 2005, c. 363, § 29, eff. Nov. 1, 2005.
